Everyone Should Go Naked (At Least Once)
I was walking around the house the other night in a bra and undies, and I felt liberated – I was free, I was sexy, I was… almost nude… walking around (for a while I might add)… and it felt amazing! It’s a feeling of abandonment that I’ve missed in my recent years of roommate consideration and living in a cold climate (hey, San Francisco is cold… especially in the Richmond… and especially since I refuse to use my heat in June… ok, yeah, yeah, I’m a wuss). As I walked to and fro, I thought to myself, “How is it that I have given up this delicious feeling for the past 3 years?”. There was a period when walking around in such a cavalier way was the norm, much to the hilarity of my roommates at the time – nudity was nothing to them as they would think, “There she goes again” (I’ve mentioned I went to school in Arizona, so most people were walking around half nude outdoors, let alone in their homes… you can see where the normalcy of it all derived from). As I’ve gotten older,
it started occurring less, much to my current chagrin.
I read once that walking around nude bestows you a certain confidence and makes you walk taller as it gives you a sense of entitlement, freedom, and that certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ (which I like to think of as pure sexiness… it is in my head anyway). I fully believe this to be true, and recommend everyone try it if they haven’t or don’t already. Everyone should go home tonight and take a little nude stroll, whether it’s from your bedroom to the bathroom, or simply full on naked lounging. Either way, I know it will give you a feeling of confidence, assurance, and even beauty (it may make you want to get frisky, too, which is definitely a plus) – it definitely feeds the soul and boosts you up, trust me. So that’s my theory… get naked and feel better (man, if only world peace were that easy… well, it might be come to think of it. Can you imagine fighting with someone if everyone was naked? Not very scary, just really funny… haha!)!
